The Reference Center is a section of the India Vanuíre Museum that brings together cultural, heritage, historical, ethnological, archaeological and artistic references about the indigenous peoples of the west of São Paulo. It also works with historical and environmental references from the municipality of Tupã.
The Center has partnerships with indigenous lands in the region through the Identity Project, which seeks to support the strengthening of traditions and the maintenance of indigenous memory, encouraging initiatives aimed at consolidating culture.
