The Research and Reference Center is a department of the Índia Vanuíre Museum that gathers cultural, heritage, historical, ethnological, archaeological, and artistic references about the indigenous peoples of Western São Paulo. It also works with historical and environmental references of Tupã’s municipality.
The Center has partnerships with the indigenous lands of the region through the Identity Project (Projeto Identidade), which seeks to support the strengthening of traditions and the maintenance of indigenous memory by encouraging initiatives aimed at consolidating the culture.
Services are available by appointment.
Hours: Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, except on holidays.
